Chemistry: Engineering

Want to be an engineer and a chemist? Be a chemical engineer. A degree in chemistry, with a concentration in chemical engineering, will prepare you for graduate-level chemical engineering studies.

B.S. Chemistry (Engineering Concentration)



This degree prepares you to enter traditional Master's or Ph.D. programs in Chemical Engineering at other well-known universities, such as Louisiana State University and Texas A&M University. With a graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, you can work as an engineer or even teach engineering!

 


THE DEGREE

  • At LeTourneau, you will take courses in all areas of Chemistry, and five specific engineering courses.
  • In graduate school, you take a wide range of Chemical Engineering classes, and get involved in an advanced research project under the direction of a faculty member.
