Bio

Coming to a Christian polytechnic institute has been a real privilege, since I have an undergraduate degree in architecture and remember how hard it was to earn a degree in a design related field. While my path following Jesus through congregational ministry took me away from design and into theology and education, I am profoundly grateful for the way both my polytechnic education and my theological training shaped me to think and engage the world as a pastor and educator who could be a  creative thinker.  As a pastor, I’ve been able to minister to children, youth, and adults of all ages for ten plus years. I’ve been able to take my pastoral gifts with me into my classes and mentoring here at LeTourneau.  My pastoral experience has also fueled me with questions about how we can think about ministry differently, especially for associate pastors.  When I’m relaxing,  you’ll find me either playing with Legos, getting caught up on a science fiction book of some sort, playing golf, or just spending some good time with my wife Londa and our two girls.
