What inspired you to start Promise Academy?
"Promise is the fruit of many people's hopes, dreams, plans and prayers. God brought me in when I saw that so many parents in my city had no realistic access to Christ-centered education. My experience with Christian education in an underserved area of New York City taught me that this was something worth pursuing for all families."
How did LETU help you achieve your goals? How did LETU help you grow as a person during your time as a student?
"My time at LeTourneau was formative. In spite of changing academic focus three times, my professors supported and cheered me on to pursue whatever I was interested in doing and to make decisions from a place of freedom, rather than mere pragmatism. Once I landed in my niche, I was affirmed, valued and guided toward experiences and resources that would build me up. I was encouraged to keep learning and caught my professors' vision for the value of my life—to pursue service to Christ and His people as a whole person."
