2018-2019 Unusual Circumstance Request. This form is for reporting unusual financial conditions for the 2018-2019 academic year. Financial conditions that may be used in an appeal include those that are both unusual (i.e. the typical family would not face this situation in a normal year) and non-discretionary (i.e., there's not much you can do about it.) Conditions that do not warrant an appeal would include payment of routine living expenses (house payment, car, credit card, etc.) debt repayment and other expenses that reflect lifestyle choices. Unusual circumstances may include something like unusual medical expenses, younger children in private schools in 2018-2019 or loss of income during the academic year 2018-2019.
