Outside Scholarships

Beyond federal-, state- and LeTourneau-based scholarships, many outside scholarships are available based on your financial need, academic standing, career interest, etc. The following links are outside scholarship search engines and databases which we offer as a resource to possibly help you further meet your financial needs. Please note that outside scholarships searches exist in two forms: free of charge and fee-based. We recommend that you do not pay for scholarship searches.

Collegeboard Scholarship Search: Locate scholarships, loans, internships and other financial aid programs from non-college sources that match your education level, talents and background. Complete a questionnaire, and Scholarship Search will find potential opportunities from a database of more than 2,000 undergraduate scholarships, internships and loan programs.

Fastweb: Search 600,000 scholarships worth more than $1 billion. Scholarship Research Center: This section offers you free access to a large, searchable scholarship database, the opportunity to get information about education loans from lenders and general information on financial aid.

Scholarship Search by Sallie Mae: With more than a billion dollars in scholarships, Scholarship Search is one of the Internet's most respected and comprehensive sources of scholarship information.

Below you will find a list of outside scholarship information received by our financial aid office and links to outside award agencies that have assisted LETU students in the past. These scholarships are not associated with LETU, and LETU does not endorse the associated organizations.

  • AMAC Scholarships: the Airport Minority Advisory Council awards scholarships to members and also to students in flight-related fields. Search the site for current scholarships!
  • Chameleon John: current or future (next year) students can apply for the scholarship. $2,000 will be awarded to one student to cover tuition and fees.
  • Citizens Scholarship: The Citizens Scholarship is giving away $2,500 every month to students and parents.
