Heritage Scholarship



The Heritage Scholarship is LeTourneau University’s premier academic scholarship opportunity — an invitation-only event recognizing seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and alignment with our mission.

Heritage is considered an early acceptance scholarship opportunity, bringing top students from across the country to campus for a meaningful weekend of competition, connection, and community.

 

Invitation Requirements

To be considered for a Heritage invitation, students must:

  • Be a high school senior
  • Be accepted to LeTourneau University by mid-November of their senior year
  • Meet one of the following academic criteria:
    • With test scores: 3.6 GPA and 28 ACT, 1320 SAT, or 88 CLT
    • Without test scores: 3.8 GPA
    • (GPA must be based on a 4.0 unweighted scale.)

 

Scholarship Value

Heritage Scholarships are valued at more than $125,000 over four years.

 

Competition Components

Invited students compete through:

  • 2–3 minute personal video
  • Resume submission
  • 1–2 page essay
  • In-person interview during Heritage Weekend

 

Heritage Weekend is designed to be more than a competition — it is an opportunity to build relationships, connect with faculty and leadership, and experience life at LeTourneau firsthand.
