How would you describe your LETU experience?

Abbey May Redding of Winnsboro, Texas, was one of the first two nursing graduates from LETU in 2016, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She works in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. 

“I love working with my patients in their weakest moments and watching them grow or being able to keep them comfortable when they need it most,” she said.  “Nursing is so much more than I thought it would be with the relationships you build and the constant learning. You never stop learning. It's an amazing field to be in. LETU’s nursing program has awesome professors who truly care about their students and their futures. They prepared me well.”

Redding said she has found that the opportunity always arises to share her faith as a nurse.

“LETU helped me remember the importance of bringing Christ in to the workplace,” she said.
