Grace is originally from Lipan, Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, running, playing pickleball, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

To me, "home away from home" means ensuring that no resident is overlooked and that every resident knows they are valued and will be invested in at LeTourneau. A home away from home looks like fostering a warm, welcoming environment where students feel a sense of calm and peace as they transition into their new home. I believe this is achieved by knowing students by name, building genuine relationships, and intentionally inviting them to engage, grow, and find community through hall activities, and shared experiences across campus. My goal is for every resident to feel seen, supported, and like they truly belong.

Experience

Grace’s background includes serving as a Residential Director for Landmark College's Summer High School Program in Vermont, where she supported neurodivergent students, as well as working as a high school Culinary Arts teacher and beginning her residence life journey as a Resident Assistant at West Texas A&M University. Grace is pursuing a Master of Education in Counseling and Development with a Specialization in Professional School Counseling, equipping her to further support students' personal and academic development. She is excited to combine her passion for helping others with her dedication to residence life as she invests in the LeTourneau University community.
