Jeremiah Shepherd first joined LeTourneau University as Creative Director in 2017, and after exploring other opportunities from 2022 to 2025, he's returned to continue serving the university community as the Director for Brand Design. With more than 18 years of experience in the creative industry, his creative journey has taken him from the fast-paced world of newspaper production to leading creative operations across various organizations, including his own. These experiences taught him the value of collaboration and efficiency, developing a versatile skill set that spans print, digital, environmental design, photography, and video production—all of which he brings to his work at LeTourneau.
In his role as Director for Brand Design, Jeremiah works as a part of the marketing and communications team to strengthen the university's creative presence. He helped develop the university's website, works to establish design standards that serve the university, and transformed operations to bring videography and photography studios in-house.
What energizes Jeremiah most is learning the strengths of the people around him and finding ways to accomplish collective goals together. His teaching experience, including serving as assistant instructor for Introduction to Photography, reflects his genuine passion for mentoring others and sharing what he's learned along the way.
Whether partnering with faculty on recruitment materials, collaborating with administrators on creative, or working with others on various creative projects, Jeremiah is excited to create work that serves the LeTourneau community.
