Jacob Graves serves as University Controller and Treasurer in his role as Director of Accounting. He is a Texas native who grew up in a small town on the coast before leaving to pursue his education and career.
He has always felt a call to ministry and met his wife, Jaclyn, while working full time at a Christian camp in deep east Texas. He gained valuable experience working with large middle-market companies as an auditor in Houston before he and Jaclyn moved their family to Longview to be closer to her family and escape the big city. Jacob is a Texas CPA and an advocate for practical education inside and outside the classroom. He has lived in Longview with his family since 2025 and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and woodworking.
