SCHEDULE: Primarily weekdays, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Occasional overtime and weekends may be required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Coordination of all office duties for the faculty in the School of Business and the Department of Computer Science. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervision of student workers, including keeping track of student worker time cards and preparing student worker action forms.
  • Textbook ordering.
  • Receptionist duties such as greeting students, answering phones, processing mail for faculty, and directing visitors to offices.
  • Maintain faculty files and syllabi, degree plans and course sequence sheets.
  • Assist catalog editor in coordinating changes to the catalog and entering those changes in the computer.
  • Preparing check requests, expense reports, vehicle requests, work orders for maintenance, etc.
  • Maintaining schedules for faculty, classroom use, and computer lab use.
  • Oversee computer labs and student lounge.
  • Ordering office supplies and keeping up with copiers and printers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two or more years' experience at the executive secretary level.
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point required, along with a comfort level in working with computers and ability to pick up new computer skills.
  • Relate well to students and faculty, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be flexible and able to multi-task.
  • Baccalaureate degree preferred, some college
