| SCHEDULE: | This is a nine-month, tenure-track position with rank negotiable based on experience. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays but could include some evening classes and independent studies. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events. |
| POSITION DESCRIPTION: | Known as the Christian Polytechnic University, LeTourneau University is a vibrant and growing interdenominational, evangelical Christian university, recognized for high-quality STEM programs that attract students of outstanding academic ability. As a part of its strategic growth, LeTourneau has created a new general education program to advance its Christian polytechnic university saga that includes a course that equips students to reflect on the intersection of faith, technology, and human flourishing. LeTourneau invites applications and nominations for this strategic new position (open rank), which can come from any discipline* that is at the intersection of faith, technology, and human flourishing. This faculty member will also engage with LeTourneau’s Faith, Science, and Technology Initiative, support the strategic direction of the university, and teach courses within their discipline. *Potential disciplines include but are not limited to: philosophy, psychology, social sciences, natural sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering, aviation, business, education, allied health, and medicine.
