LETU Fall Classes to Begin Monday, Aug. 26, Move-in Day Thursday

LeTourneau University will begin classes for new and returning students for the Fall 2019 semester on Monday, Aug. 26. New students will move into campus residence halls Thursday, Aug. 22. New Student Orientation will be Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 22-25. Returning students can check into their residence halls Saturday, Aug. 24. The last day to register or change registration is Friday, Aug. 30.  International Student Orientation will be Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 19-21.

LeTourneau University will hold classes on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2.

Spiritual Emphasis Week will be Monday through Thursday, Sept. 9-12.

Fall Break at LETU will be Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 21-22.

Thanksgiving Break will be Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 27-29.

Final exams will be Monday through Friday, Dec. 9-12, with Fall Commencement scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 14.

New faculty members for 2019-2020 include:  Keith E. Anderson, assistant professor of applied aviation science; T. Aaron Brown, assistant professor of English and director of the writing center;  Jacqueline J. Bynum, collection development librarian; Jennifer A. Jamison, Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry; Laura J. Laster, assistant professor of flight science; Martha M. Keel, assistant professor of nursing; Kathleen W. Mays, D.B.A., associate dean business and professor of business; Dana J. Medlin, Ph.D., the Bill Kielhorn professor of welding and materials joining engineering; Ezequiel Caires Pereira Pessoa, Ph.D., associate professor of welding/materials joining engineering; Robert H. Roller, Ph.D., the Calvin Howe professor of finance;  Jessie Wheatley, DHS, associate professor of nursing; Bradley S. Wooden, chief flight instructor and professor of flight science.
