LeTourneau University’s Belcher Center is celebrating its 13th season of world-class performances with “The Next Big Thing” season of events.
Season ticket holder renewals begin Monday, July 8. New season ticket package sales begin Monday, July 22. Individual show tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6. To purchase tickets, call the Belcher Center Box Office at (903) 233-3080 or go online at www.BelcherCenter.com.
The Performance Series includes:
- Chonda Pierce, a comedian on her Still Laughing tour on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
- The Magic of Bill Blagg, an interactive magic and illusion show on Saturday November 2, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
- The Vienna Boys Choir, a choir of boy sopranos and altos based in Vienna, Austria on their world tour on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
- ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on Sunday December 15, 2019 at a time yet to be determined.
- SpongeBob the Musical, the multiple-award-winning Broadway hit on Thursday January 23, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
- Three Redneck Tenors, a musical comedy group who were top finalists on America’s Got Talent on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
- Stray Cat Lee Rocker, the founder of rockabilly band the Stray Cats on Saturday March 28, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
- Home Free, an American a cappella group that won the 4th season of The Sing-Off in 2013 on Saturday April 18, 2020 at 7:30 p.m.
A Special Event will feature:
- Wild Kratts Live 2.0, a stage show featuring Martin and Chris Kratt, based on their popular television series on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m..
The School and Family Shows include:
- How to Survive Middle School – at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm on Tuesday September 17, 2019 for Grades 5, 6, and 7.
- Maddi’s Fridge –at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm on Monday October 21, 2019 for Grades 1, 2, and 3.
- Bill Blagg, Magic in Motion –at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm on Tuesday May 5, 2020 for Grades 3-6.
The public can purchase tickets for the 12:30 performances of the school and family shows.
Back by popular demand is the “Build Your Own Season” option of getting discounts on ticket packages for six, seven or eight shows. Purchasing all eight shows in the Performance Series provides a 15% discount. A package of seven shows provides a 13% discount. Those purchasing six shows receive an 11% discount. Season ticket packages include a pass to priority parking for those shows, plus the ability to select seats before shows go on sale to the public.
