A new study from the Faith, Science, and Technology Initiative and the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity invites participants to reflect on the intersection of technology and spiritual fulfillment.
Faculty and staff from LeTourneau University's Faith, Science, and Technology Initiative and the Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity (CBHD) are conducting a research study exploring how digital practices intersect with spiritual life — and how that intersection contributes to a sense of spiritual fulfillment.
The study invites adults 18 and older to reflect on the spiritual desires of the contemporary church, their own spiritual practices, and the role digital technology plays in shaping those experiences. Participation involves an anonymous online survey that takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. After finishing the survey, participants may also volunteer for an online or in-person focus group.
The research is led by Jonathan Lett, Matthew Eppinette, and Anna Vollema, CBHD Research Scholar at LeTourneau University.
The study reflects LeTourneau's ongoing commitment to exploring the intersection of faith, science, and technology — a central pillar of the university's 2035 Vision and a driving force behind the acquisition of CBHD in January 2026.
Those interested in participating can access the survey here. For more information or to volunteer for a focus group, contact Anna Vollema at annavollema@letu.edu or 903-233-4042.
