What is your favorite thing about LeTourneau?
My favorite thing about LeTourneau is most definitely the unique culture here on campus that is created from all of the different backgrounds that our students come from. The LeTourneau student body is made of people from all walks of life and I think it makes for a great atmosphere here on campus.
College searching advice for high school students?
From my personal experience, I would say that stopping to pray before each major decision you make is crucial as a Christian. It`s easy to get swept up in the grandeur of the college search process and so I think it`s important to use biblical discernment and give thanks to God in every decision we make.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
My favorite Bible verse is Nahum 1:7 which says, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.”
What is your favorite local business?
I`m a bit of a nerd and so my favorite local business is probably Games2Go, but my favorite local restaurant is probably El Rincon! It`s right down the street from LeTourneau, they have great customer service, and they have the best salsa in Longview in my opinion.
What is a fun fact about you?
I work on short films with my best friends in our spare time! I`m a huge fan of the 80`s and so a lot of our videos have references and themes around pop culture from that era.
I have also grown up in East Texas my entire life out in Harleton, Texas, which is about 35 minutes from LeTourneau.
