My name is Ken Shelton, and I am the Regional Recruiter for the Metro Houston area. I have lived most of my life in Michigan and look forward to the warmer weather in Houston. I have a 19-year-old daughter that will be going into Junior year of college. I look forward to working for a Christ centered college.
What drew you to/keeps you at LeTourneau?
God led me to Letourneau University and the mission of the college loving God and people. Also, the story of R.G Letourneau and his passion for building a college and still preaching the gospel in other states on the weekends
What excites you most about what is on the horizon for LETU?
I am excited about the “Build for this Purpose” campaign and seeing buildings like the Air Dome for our athletic programs. Also, our campaign to get students from all over the nation here sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ!
What do you love most about your geographic region?
I love the Houston area because of its loving people, the churches, and the excellent restaurants that we have in the area.
