Sarah Ruth lives in DFW with her husband, son and daughter. She and her husband are LeTourneau alums and fell in love in science class. Sarah Ruth’s passion for recruiting for LeTourneau goes back the student life she experienced at LeTourneau University, and the tremendous impact that the LETU Christian community has had in shaping her life and strengthening her relationship with the Lord.
What drew you to/keeps you at LeTourneau?
I believe Christian higher education is critical in training students to stand firm on the truth of God’s Word as they prepare to serve Christ in their workplace, homes, and churches. I love sharing about LeTourneau’s commitment to faithfully and unapologetically teach God’s Word, while equipping students to use their vocation as their mission field.
What excites you most about what is on the horizon for LETU?
If you ask me what I'm most excited about right now, it’s the “Build with Purpose” campaign, which will provide a wealth of new opportunities and learning experiences for our students and expand the missional impact of LeTourneau.
What do you love most about your geographic region?
I love living in DFW because of my wonderful church home, close proximity to great shopping, Texas-style barbecue, southern hospitality, and warm weather. I'm excited to deepen connections with North Texas families, churches and schools, and come alongside college-ready students to help them determine how their interests and giftings can be actualized at THE Christian Polytechnic University.
