The Human Resources Department will coordinate the university's orientation program and provide a benefits orientation to new employees as appropriate. Using the Staff Orientation Checklist, the President or a designee will orient a new cabinet administrator, and each cabinet administrator or a designee will orient other new staff employees to their job procedures, responsibilities and the policies of the University. The orientation will be sufficient if the staff member is provided a copy of this handbook or online access it to it and the description and responsibilities of the job. If further orientation is desired by the new staff member, it is the employee's obligation to make such a request of the cabinet administrator or the President.
