Electrical Engineering

What is Electrical Engineering?

Are you reading this on a laptop?
Calling on a cell phone?
Sitting under a fluorescent light?
Listening to a CD player?
Watching a DVD?

These are just a few of the products designed by electrical engineers, along with municipal power systems, satellite image transmission, aircraft guidance and navigation, robotic control and many others. In short, electrical engineers devise systems to transform energy and to transfer data. Electrical engineering courses deal with the theory, mathematics and components of electrical circuits, signals and controls.
