Biography:

Ken Moore of Longview is a retired airline pilot and captain, having prior experience as a naval carrier pilot and petroleum engineer for an oilfield service company. Moore earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (aerospace option) from LeTourneau University in 1972 and his Master of Science degree in aeronautical systems from the University of West Florida. He previously served as an alumni representative on the LETU Board of Trustees before his first election to the board in 2006. He and his wife, Cherry, who earned a chemistry degree from LETU, have two children, Robert and Alicia. The Moores attend Fellowship Bible Church where he has served as a deacon, elder, church choir director, deacon board secretary and Missionary Tech Team board member.
