SCHEDULE:

Primarily weekdays 7:00am – 4:00pm.  Occasional overtime and weekends are required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of one so classified. 

  1. Responsible for all duties regarding receiving and purchasing materials for Facilities Services.
  2. Sorting and notifying campus materials received in the Facilities Services warehouse.
  3. Responsible for all duties pertaining to the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Services Warehouse including, but not limited to: organizing, stocking and inventory of various materials and stock.
  4. Accountable for accurate coding and inventory management.
  5. Communicates with university staff regarding ordered material.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have the ability to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Must be experienced with data entry.
  • Must be able to deal with individuals within and outside the University on a professional level.
  • Must have physical capabilities for lifting and carrying heavy boxes, walking and standing a substantial amount of the time, bending, stooping and reaching.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift (previous forklift experience preferred).
