SCHEDULE: Primarily weekdays, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Flexible schedule including nights and occasional weekends required. Some travel will be required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is an entry level position. The Enrollment Officer for Traditional Programs reports to the Director of Admissions. He/she is responsible for managing the on-ground recruitment functions, as defined in the responsibilities section:
• Contacting inquiries on a continuous basis via phone, electronic and written correspondence. This includes spending a substantial amount of time in telecommunication with prospective students, sometimes during evening hours.
• Counseling prospective students in one-on-one sessions ensuring that they connect with the appropriate academic advisors and financial assistance coordinators, and serving as the primary liaison between students and the university, specifically during the initial enrollment process.
• Traveling assigned territory during Fall/Spring recruitment cycle.
• Using professional knowledge and perspective in relating to new and potential students to establish professional rapport and add to the student experience.
• Assisting students in making informed decisions by providing ethical, timely, accurate, and comprehensive enrollment options and program information.
• Working to identify prospective students' educational goals and disseminating course and program information accordingly. This includes informing potential and/or current students with respect to enrollment, policies on transferability of previous college credits, degree program options, and providing information on university policies, practices and standards.
• Facilitating a seamless transition of students between the point of admission and academic advisement, and serving as a primary contact for resolving non-academic service related issues prior to matriculation.
• Assisting prospective students in understanding their financial obligations while partnering with students' assigned financial aid advisor.
• Attending weekly staff meetings and contributing to a University-wide approach of meeting enrollment goals.
• Attending, participating, and contributing in all campus visit days.
• Participating in programs for self-improvement and professional development pertaining to improved conversions and customer service.
• Implementing daily and weekly feedback from the management team in order to improve effectiveness in recruitment efforts.
• Using the Customer Relationship Management tool to perform routine contacts via phone and email to an assigned group of prospective students.
• Demonstrating public support and pride in LETU initiatives, assists others in seeing the positive aspects of a new initiative, and is viewed by other members of the team as a positive influence.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

• The effectiveness of the Enrollment Officer on the overall recruitment of students, including reaching short and long term goals (This includes reaching yearly enrollment goals, applicant conversion goals, and contact goals).
• Personal growth, as seen in making mature business decisions, organizational skills, and utilization of time.
• The amount of tasks that are performed through initiative and creative thinking in an effort to assist and improve the daily flow of responsibilities for the department as a whole. This includes initiatives to excel in customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS: Be a Christian and agree to the University’s statement of faith.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform basic computer applications (ie, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in Jenzabar is a plus.
• Ability to multitask.
• Organization skills and the ability to plan and coordinate large events.
• Professional phone skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Time management skills and the ability to keep a daily schedule of appointments.
