LeTourneau University invites applications from exceptionally-qualified candidates for positions in the School of Nursing. LeTourneau is a vibrant and growing interdenominational, evangelical Christian university, known for high-quality academic programs that attract students of outstanding ability. The School of Nursing will graduate highly-skilled, progressive-thinking nurses who will carry the mission of LeTourneau as they go out to claim Christ in “every workplace, every nation.”   The candidate must also be in genuine agreement with the University’s Statement of Faith and Community Covenant for life and work at LeTourneau. 

The ideal candidates for these positions will have clinical and teaching experience in pediatric, medical/surgical, or critical care nursing.  The candidates will be able to use conceptual, learning-based teaching strategies.  The candidates will also be expected to participate in departmental meetings/activities but will not be required to participate on university committees.

  • A strong interest and commitment to teaching and advising at the undergraduate level.
  • Ability to relate to students and to communicate subject material using innovative approaches and technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as necessary.


Qualified applicants must hold an earned master’s degree in Nursing.  Applicants with an earned doctorate or in the later stages of earning a doctorate degree in nursing are preferred.  Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Texas.  A complete job description is available at http://www.letu.edu/jobs.

SALARY: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and other qualifications. No benefits are offered for part-time/adjunct positions.
