POSITION DESCRIPTION:

LeTourneau University invites applications for adjunct faculty members qualified to teach in the following areas for the fall semester 2020.  We are looking for persons who would like to teach in a variety of settings -- Classes may be located on the LeTourneau University campus, some classes may be online, and some classes may be for dual credit students in our local high schools. Some classes are daytime, and some are evening classes.

  • English Composition – Master’s Degree in English or related field and eighteen graduate hours in English, to teach English Comp and Writing Classes.
  • Economics – Master’s Degree in Business or related field and eighteen graduate hours in Economics to teach Economics lecture classes.
  • History – Master’s Degree in History or related field and eighteen graduate hours in History to teach History lecture classes.
  • Mathematics – Master’s Degree in Mathematics or related field and eighteen graduate hours in Mathematics to teach Mathematics lecture classes.
  • Psychology – Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field and eighteen graduate hours in Psychology to teach Psychology lecture classes.
  • Speech Communications – Master’s Degree in Communications or related field and eighteen graduate hours in Communications.
QUALIFICATIONS: LeTourneau University seeks a person with an enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith who is committed to teaching and research at a dynamic Christian University where the integration of faith and academic excellence is paramount. The candidate must be in genuine agreement with the University’s Statement of Faith and Community Covenant for life and work at LeTourneau University.
