Join us for a special 75th Anniversary Homecoming & Family Weekend (Sep. 15-18, 2021)!

Join us for a very special Homecoming celebration as we look back on 75 years of God's faithfulness and the story He has given us as a community and university family.  Because this is such a special celebration, we've added an extra day to Homecoming that include a number of exciting new opportunities for our alumni, our students, their families, and staff and faculty.

In addition to Homecoming & Family Weekend, LeTourneau University is holding it's first-ever SOAR Day on Friday, September 17th.  On this day, 75 years ago, LeTourneau Technical Institute took off! It was the first official day of classes of our first full year of what is now LeTourneau University. Join us this day as we honor, remember, and commemorate the faculty, staff, and others God has used in your life or the in your student's life to SOAR?  Look for more information coming soon!

PLEASE NOTE: The registration process has changed this year. Instead of registering one group and then choosing how many people from your group will go to each event, you will register each individual in your group one at a time. After selecting which events that individual is attending, you will click "Continue" and then sign-up the next individual for the events they would like to attend. Attending the same events? Use the "copy" feature to copy your answers from one attendee to the next (note: you are only able to copy between the same type of attendee - adult to adult, child to child - due to the different responses needed from these types).

To begin your registration, please select the number of people in each category below that make up your group, then click "Continue" and register each individual for their desired events.  If you have any questions, please contact our Alumni Relations Team: 903-233-3840.

Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive. Feel free to reach out to our Alumni Office if you have questions that are not answered below (903-233-3840, alumni@letu.edu).

  1. Why is Homecoming & Family Weekend in September 2021, rather than April?
At it's heart, this weekend is about connecting with one another, reminiscing over old memories and making new memories together.  Because being together is the goal, university leadership and our Alumni Council made the decision to reschedule Homecoming & Family Weekend to September to allow even more alumni, students, family, and friends to participate in this memorable weekend.

  2. How do I register for Homecoming & Family Weekend?
Click on the "Registration" tab above (or select it from the drop-down menu on a mobile device).  You can then register for each individual in your group there.

  3. I've registered, but need to make changes to my registration.  How do I do that?
You can use the edit link included in your confirmation email, click here to search for your registration and make changes, or give our Alumni Relations Team a call and we can help you make those changes over the phone (903-233-3840).

  4. What is the cost for attending Homecoming & Family Weekend?
Most of the weekend's events are free.  There are a number of events that help raise money for student groups (i.e. 5K Buzz Run, STING Pancake Breakfast), as well as a handful of specific events serving food and coast money (i.e. Breakfast with the President, Golden Jackets Luncheon, banquets, etc.).  Whether or not you are attending a paid event, please register so that we can plan for you and plan accordingly so that all can enjoy a great weekend together.  If you are not registering for any paid events, the registration process is automatically streamlined.

  5. I am a 1970/1971 graduate and celebrating my 50th Reunion this year. Where do I complete the Golden Jacket Response form?
We are so excited to celebrate you and celebrate with you as part of our 50th Anniversary Reunion.  Please click here to complete the online form for the Golden Jacket Reunion.

  6. Does the university have a list of local hotel accommodation?
Yes! LeTourneau University has secured special pricing at several hotels in Longview and surrounding areas. If you're staying at one of these properties, simply mention that you will be visiting LeTourneau University and would like the discount rate.

  7. What airports are nearby?
While Gregg County Regional Airport is minutes from campus - and home to our Abbot Aviation Center - there are a number of airports within a few hours drive: Shreveport Regional Airport, Dallas Love Field, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and Houston's George Bush Airport.  Find out more information on these nearby airports and rental car options by clicking here.

  8. Which groups are holding reunions during Homecoming & Family Weekend?
While Saturday afternoon is set aside for reunions and open houses, there are a number of groups who have notified us of coordinated reunions: Alpha Omega (AO), Ambulance Service, Automotive Society, Dorm 4, Dorm 11, and Dorm 40. Know of alumni planning a reunion for a different group? We're here to help! Contact us at alumni@letu.edu or 903-233-3840.
