LETU Announces Fall 2018 Enrollment of 31,75, Up Nearly 6%



front-sign-letu.JPGLeTourneau University’s total Fall 2018 enrollment is 3,175, a 5.7% increase over last year. Led by significant increases from East Texas, LETU’s enrollment is up over 16% in two years.

“LeTourneau University is making a nationally-ranked, Christ-centered education affordable for families,” said LETU President Dr. Dale A. Lunsford. “High school students are choosing LETU to earn college credits while still in high school, and we are finding these students enrolling at the university full-time once they graduate from high school. This fall, we enrolled a record number of East Texans.”

Fall 2018 enrollment also reflects that LETU attracted 94 international students from nearly 35 countries.
Enrollment numbers are official after the 12th class day.

LETU offers more than 140 undergraduate and graduate degree programs across a range of disciplines and delivery models at LETU’s residential campus in Longview, Texas, and in hybrid and fully online options at centers in the Dallas and Houston areas.

LETU was ranked among the 2018 Kiplinger’s Top 100 Best Universities in the U.S., PayScale’s 2018 College ROI Report, and Washington Monthly’s 2018 “Best Bang for the Buck” listing of colleges in the U.S.

The recently announced 2019 U.S. News & World Report rankings listed LETU as #28 among “America’s Best Colleges” in the Western Region, as well as 12th among “Great Schools, Great Prices” and among the alphabetic listing of “A-plus Schools for B-students.” LETU’s engineering school was ranked among the top 50 engineering programs in the nation and was in the top two best engineering schools in the state of Texas, among similar schools with programs whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
