LETU to Host Singer/Songwriter James Peel in Sept. 5 Chapel, Public Invited

LeTourneau University will host singer/songwriter James Peel in chapel service at 10:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview. The event is free and open to the public.
Peel is an accomplished musician who writes songs and records music in his home recording studio using a variety of instruments from acoustic guitar to banjo and ukulele. Peel is a research coordinator at the Denison Forum on Truth and Culture where he writes about current events from a biblical perspective. He earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Calif. He and his wife are actively involved in the Young Professionals ministry at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
