LETU to Feature My Anchor Holds in Free Concert Feb. 11

LeTourneau University will present husband and wife singing-songwriting duo My Anchor Holds for a special performance during chapel service at 10:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview. The event is free and open to the public.

Katie and Jacob Eckeberger formed My Anchor Holds in 2011, seeking to reach people with their fusion of music and faith. After meeting at Greenville College in Illinois, the two moved to Nashville, Tenn. to pursue a musical career. Now, as a popular duo, they tour across the country in churches and concerts. Their songs are a tool to spread the Christian message through worship and praise.
My Anchor Hold's self-titled debut album, available on iTunes, features tracks such as "Depth of Mercy" and "Peace." A new EP, "Dirty Jesus," has also been released.
