LETU Magazines Win 2012 Communicator Awards


LeTourneau University's Realities recruitment magazine and NOW news magazine have been selected by the International Academy of Visual Arts to receive 2012 Communicator Awards.

Realities magazine's Fall 2011 issue won the Communicator Award of Excellence in the educational magazine category and for copywriting, while the Spring 2011 issue also won the Communicator Award of Distinction for those same categories.

LETU's NOW magazine's Fall 2011 "Five Pillars" issue won the Communicator Award of Distinction in the educational magazine category.
With thousands of entries received from across the United States and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals. The annual competition honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 550+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

Current IAVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: Condè Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Estee Lauder, HBO, Keller Crescent, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Tribal DDB, Victoria's Secret, Wired, Yahoo!, and many others.
