Dec 2019/May 2020 Graduation Ceremony Info

In April 2020, the graduation ceremony for our December 2019/May 2020 graduates was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This ceremony has now been rescheduled for Saturday, May 8th at 2:00pm in the Belcher Center.  

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who completed their work in December 2020 or May 2021 are in the Class of 2021 and should NOT complete the following process.  They must apply for graduation via the Registrar's Office.

How to RSVP:

To confirm your planned participation in the May 8, 2021 graduation ceremony, you need to reserve your graduation gown on the Josten's website through the following process no later than March 25, 2021:

  1. Click here to go to the Josten's website. (Josten's is the provider of gowns for LeTourneau graduation ceremonies.)
  2. Select "Graduation Caps & Gowns" (There is no cost for the gown. The graduation fee you paid earlier covers this cost.)
  3. Select "December 2019 and May 2020 Graduates"
  4. Select your appropriate degree: Masters, Bachelors, or Associates.
  5. Select your height and click "Add to Cart".
  6. Enter the first and last name of the graduating student (boxes next to gown).
  7. Click "Checkout". (Note: You may shop for other graduation items and add them to your cart, but you must complete your checkout for your gown in order for your RSVP to be complete.)
  8. Check out as a guest or create a log-in on the Josten's website.

You must complete Checkout and submit your order for your reservation to be complete. Once your order is submitted, with your gown included, and you have received a confirmation of your order, your reservation for the graduation ceremony in May is complete.

Cap, Tassel, Stoles, & Honor Cords

Please bring your cap, tassel, stoles, and any honor cords with you to the graduation on May 8th.  If you have not received these items, please contact the Alumni Relations Office at | (903) 233-3840 to make sure these items are ready for you in May.


Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How many guests tickets will each graduate have?
    Due to COVID-19 precautions, each graduate will receive a  group of 4 guest tickets for family members or friends to join them for the graduation ceremony in the Belcher Center.  These randomly assigned groups of 4 will be social distanced from other groups to allow family members in poor health or vulnerable populations to attend. Additional family and friends are invited to watch via livestream video at

  2. Will the ceremony be available for my family and friends to watch?
    Yes.  The graduation will be livestreamed on the LETU website at

  3. What about my cap, tassel, stole, and honor cords?
    If you previously received your cap, tassel, stole, or honor cords, please bring these with you for the graduation.  If you have not yet received these, please contact the Alumni Relations Office (, 903-233-3840) so that these can be ready for you when you come on May 8th.

  4. I never received my Servant Statue - a gift given to every graduate from the Alumni Relations Office.  Can I get it while on-campus for graduation? 
    Yes.  There will be signs indicating where you can pick up your statue following your graduation ceremony.
