For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

Bio

I was born and raised in Malawi, Africa, but I have lived in several places in the United States while pursuing my nursing education and career--including twenty years of clinical nursing experience and fifteen years of academic teaching experience. I moved to Longview in 2019 from Springfield, Missouri, and joined the LETU School of Nursing. Having the opportunity to combine my nursing educator career and my Christian faith to prepare students for faith-integrated nursing has been a highlight for me since finding LeTourneau University. My husband Robert and I have two children, ages 15 and 19, and my eldest daughter is a recent graduate of LeTourneau.

Even though it is challenging to be a nurse and a nurse educator, it is a privilege to have a place like LeTourneau and to have the students that we have here. To have the blessing of walking with them, to show them how to listen to God's voice, to remind them how to hear that small voice: "Don't forget the patient, Don't forget God's creation."

When I am not teaching and educating future nurses, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, gardening, seeing new places, and trying new things. I am also an avid lover of rescue animals and enjoy taking care of animals on my farm.
