That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and may share His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death.

Personal Bio

I am a Christian, husband, father and engineer. My wife and I both received our bachelor’s degrees here at LeTourneau, and now my wife is caring for our children at home while I serve the labs and pursue my master’s degree.

My motivation for civil engineering is founded in the unique power that the field has to address basic human needs. In His earthly ministry, Jesus spent a large amount of time meeting physical needs. He did this to remove the physical barriers that distracted people so that He could then speak to their spiritual needs. I believe civil engineers get to do this same work, allowing people to become aware of their spiritual needs.

I see each day in my work as an opportunity to serve the future leaders of the world. Whether I am setting up for labs or encouraging a student to pursue God’s call, I am grateful to be able to facilitate the learning and growth that happens here at LeTourneau.
