I knew at an early age that I wanted to be an educator. I started teaching as a child with my dolls and stuffed animals as my students. In high school, I had the privilege of working half days each day in a bilingual elementary classroom. During my years in the classroom, I worked closely with many beginning teachers and helped them to make it through that first, difficult year. I am excited to now be at LeTourneau University assisting new educators as they prepare to teach and to fulfill the Great Commission.
My husband, Toby, and I met in college and have been married for thirty-four years. We have three daughters and two granddaughters. My hobbies center around reading, traveling, spending time with family, and children's ministry at church.
