You may enter the LeTourneau University Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) or Bachelor of Business Management
(BBM) at one of three entry points depending on your assessment results.
The basic admission requirements for entrance into the Business degree programs are:
- 21 years of age minimum at the time of application
- Three years of work experience
preferred, but all work experience will be considered
- Meet the minimum GPA requirement of a 2.0 or greater with any existing college
coursework, high school diploma or GED equivalent (Students transfering in 16 or
more college credit hours do not need to submit proof of high school diploma or GED).
- The applicant must be supportive of the Christian mission of the university through the
integration of the Christian faith with learning.
- Undergraduate business applicants may be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. The
decision of the Admission Committee is final.
For applicants with foreign transcripts, a copy of the original transcript will be accepted,
preferably with an English translation. Transcripts, however, must be evaluated course by
course by either Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), World Education Services, Inc. (WES), or
SpanTran Educational Services, Inc.
before evaluation and processing by LeTourneau University.
Additional requirements for previous college credit:
Applicants for Course Sequence Two must have earned a grade of C or above for a
college-level English composition course to be eligible to take the first English course in the
program.
Applicants for
Course Sequence Two without college level English composition credit will be required to
take an appropriate college-level English course before beginning
Course Sequence Twoc courses. Once we receive a copy of your official transcript showing
you successfully completed the course with a grade of C or above, you can begin
Course Sequence Two.
Applicants for the BBA core (60+ hours) must have earned a C or above on one
college-level English composition course applicable to the English requirements prior to admission
into the core business program.
