Mrs. Fredna Stuckey

Mrs. Fredna Stuckey brings 21 years of experience teaching middle and high school English, as well as supervisory and administrative experience, to her first year at LeTourneau University. Besides teaching, she enjoys sewing, camping, swimming, and water skiing. She and her husband David are passionate about missions and have participated in mission trips to Barbados and the Dominican Republic along with many destinations in the US. One of their favorite ministry sites is an orphanage in Mexico. She has sponsored many youth choir trips and has lots of experience cooking for students--an important skill for university faculty!

"Although I've taught English for more than 20 years, teaching at LeTourneau is definitely the high water mark of my professional career. The sharing, caring attitude of the faculty and staff makes planning and preparing for instruction an exciting, pleasant task. The actual teaching brings unspeakable joy as I watch students' faith and learning grow simultaneously. Student/teacher ratios are low enough to insure accessibility to students; yet LeTourneau offers numerous advantages and opportunities often found only at much larger universities. Opportunities to prepare for your chosen vocation and to reach the world for Christ go hand-in-hand at LeTourneau. I love working together with students as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission."
