The most important parts of my life are my faith and my family. I am blessed to have grown up in a Christian home and to have married into another Christian family. All of God's word is precious, but some of my favorite verses are Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 34:3 and 8. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11) Come, let us tell of the Lord's greatness.let us exalt his name together. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who trust in him! (Psalm 34:3, 8)

My husband Ken and I have been married for over 27 years and have 3 grown children. Jeremiah and his wife Marcie live in Indiana where Miah is worship pastor at Grace Community Church and Marcie is now a full-time mom to our beautiful new grandbaby, Carina. Miah's first CD was released April 2000. The second, a collaboration between them under the name of their band, 40 miles north, was released in spring 2003. Clips are available on their band's Web site. Japheth got married last summer to an amazing young woman who is a full-time LeTourneau student. He's working full-time as a draftsman and finishing up his last few classes. Mary is Career Services secretary at LeTourneau University.

When I'm not working, I enjoy puttering in my garden or quilting. I'm also very partial to my dogs, especially my dalmatian, Hero. If we manage to get a few days of vacation (which doesn't happen nearly often enough), we enjoy camping. It's great to get away from phones and doorbells--as long as I can take along my notebook computer!
