Experimental Debate

One of the most contested issues over the cold fusion experiments is the ability to reproduce the results. Hot fusionist claim that several experiments have been made with very accurate sensing equipment that have yielded no results that would show signs of cold fusion taking place.

For most scientists, it is not the fact that cold fusion goes against the current theories of energy; it is the fact that in the past cold fusion experiments have been proven fraudulent and the results are never consistent.

Cold fusionists admit that their results are not repeatable. They claim that the only reason that they have not released any findings that are repeatable is because they do not have an adequate way to produce the fuel. The problem is the fact that the fuel is unpredictable.

Different metals accept the deuterium more readily than others do. Currently there has not been sufficient research done into which types of metals work best as the fuel.

There are thousands of possible ways to load different metals with deuterium that will allow for cold fusion to work. Funding for such an experiment to try and find which loading procedure has never been provided.

There are those out there that have the information and technology to create fuel samples which produce results that are decently reliable. Nevertheless, they are not allowed to release that information because of the nondisclosure agreement they signed. Cold fusionist realize that there is away to get fuel samples that are reliable because it has been done before.
