LeTourneau University will host its annual Missions Emphasis Week Jan. 27-31, featuring a variety of speakers. Chapel sessions and events on campus are free, and the public is invited to attend all chapels and events. For a schedule of the events on campus, visit www.letu.edu/chapel.
Chapel speakers will include The Traveling Team at 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27; Dale Rhoton at 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29; and Kemtal Glasgow at 10:50 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview.
The Traveling Team —

For over a decade, The Traveling Team has spoke at thousands of engagements to hundreds of thousands of students. The organization specializes in teaching and mobilizing college students to enact evangelism. After their presentations, the team sets up one-on-one meetings with interested students to help promote spiritual growth. With three teams traveling the U.S., The Traveling Team will speak at over 240 campus meetings this year.
Dale Rhoton —

Rhoton works full-time promoting the ship ministry for Operation Mobilization (OM) in North America and Asia. He has been with the organization since its inception in the late 1950s. OM is a global ministry with 6,100 missionaries working in more than 110 countries, while onboard a missions ship at sea. OM ministers through church planting, discipleship, literature distribution and providing relief and development throughout the world.
Kemtal Glasgow —

Founded in 1986 by Ron and Katie Luce, Teen Mania Ministries is one of the largest Christian youth ministry organizations in the U.S. and is based in Garden Valley, Texas. Their primary ministry is directed toward teenagers and young adults, and the organization has received numerous endorsements, including Billy Graham, Josh McDowell, Louie Gohmert, George W. Bush and other notables. One of Teen Mania Ministries’ programs is Acquire the Fire, a 27-hour weekend event that delivers the gospel message to young people. As Acquire the Fire executive director, Glasgow is a sought-after speaker and has been involved in reaching young people for Christ for more than 10 years.
