LeTourneau University will feature Future Marriage University co-founder Michael Johnson for a series of talks on preparing for marriage during a three-day seminar Monday through Wednesday, Feb. 25 to 27, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview. The talks are free and open to the public.
Johnson studied business broadcasting at Baylor University before working with Top Five Radio Promotions. There, he worked with radio stations to ensure airtime for hit songs. Future Marriage University, established in Franklin, Tenn. in 2003, educates college students about the foundations of positive relationships. Speaking around the country, Johnson works to equip young people for sustainable marriages from a Christian perspective. He and his wife, Julie, share stories from their own experiences to communicate their message. In connection with FMU, Johnson has authored a series of study guides titled “Top 10 Marriage Tips for Smart Singles.”
