LETU to Host Michael Johnson to Speak During Family Life Week Feb. 25-27

LeTourneau University will feature Future Marriage University co-founder Michael Johnson for a series of talks on preparing for marriage during a three-day seminar Monday through Wednesday, Feb. 25 to 27, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave., in Longview. The talks are free and open to the public.
- Monday at 10:50 a.m., Johnson will discuss the topic “Beyond Sex & Salvation: Three Critical Life Lessons.” Monday evening at 7 p.m., he will cover the question “Do You Have a License to Date?”
- Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., Johnson will offer a companion talk titled “Beyond Sex and Salvation: Three Key Life Disciplines.” Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., he will discuss the “Top 10 Dumbest Reasons to Date.”
- The seminar will conclude Wednesday morning at 10:50 a.m. with the final presentation on sex, “Beyond Sex and Salvation: Three Crucial Life Decisions.”
Johnson studied business broadcasting at Baylor University before working with Top Five Radio Promotions. There, he worked with radio stations to ensure airtime for hit songs. Future Marriage University, established in Franklin, Tenn. in 2003, educates college students about the foundations of positive relationships. Speaking around the country, Johnson works to equip young people for sustainable marriages from a Christian perspective. He and his wife, Julie, share stories from their own experiences to communicate their message. In connection with FMU, Johnson has authored a series of study guides titled “Top 10 Marriage Tips for Smart Singles.”
