LeTourneau University has named Bryan C. Schneider, who serves as the associate vice president and chief operating officer at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Hospital in Galveston to give the keynote address at LETU’s Houston commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 12 at Houston First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Freeway, Houston Texas.The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. for nearly 100 graduates from the Houston and Austin areas.\
Schneider’s career in health care administration began in the United States Air Force where he served as an enlisted member of the hospital administration team and subsequently as a commissioned officer in the Medical Service Corps. He experienced progressive success and advancement throughout his career, holding senior leadership positions within several hospital and health system structures, owing his success to a strong work ethic, professional development and servant leadership principles. Schneider has recently been appointed as the director of LETU’s new Health Care Administration programs, which are offered in Houston, Dallas, and online.
He earned his bachelor degree from Wayland Baptist University, and his master’s degree from Central Michigan University where he is also completing his doctorate in Health Administration this year. Schneider has earned Board Certification and Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
