Companies always want to attract the best and brightest, and despite the economic downturn, they are still hiring. More than 70 companies will participate at a career fair at the LeTourneau University campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Solheim Center today, Thursday, Oct. 27.
LETU students will discover co-op and internship opportunities, explore potential careers, meet professionals working in their field of study and connect with alumni who are recruiting for their companies. The annual career fair showcases companies that like to hire LETU graduates. The fair is organized by LETU Director of Career Services Steve Gatton.
“When we ask these companies why they like to hire LETU graduates, they tell us it is because our students are well-prepared for the workplace, but as importantly, our students have integrity, hands-on skills and good moral values that companies are looking for in new employees,” Gatton said.
