LeTourneau University's Center for Faith and Work and the BWF Project will co-host the Breakfast With Fred Leadership Symposium on Wednesday, Oct., 5, for LETU students to meet and be mentored by a panel of 18 notable executives from a variety of professions.
The Breakfast With Fred Leadership Symposium's mission is to develop tomorrow's Christian leaders as ethical, successful, involved, and effective participants in their professions and communities.
These 18 executives were all influenced by the late Fred Smith, Sr. whose career spanned 65 years of executive positions with General Shoe Corporation, William Powell Valve, and Gruen Watch. His influence through speaking, mentoring, writing and consulting impacted men and women worldwide, some of whom included Zig Ziglar, Ken Blanchard, John Maxwell and Dr. Ramesh Richard.
As an inaugural contributor to Leadership Journal, Smith mentored a generation of pastors and ministry leaders and continues to do so through his archived writings and website www.breakfastwithfred.com.
