LETU to Present Broadway Musical 'A Year with Frog and Toad'

LeTourneau University will present the hit Broadway musical “A
Year With Frog and Toad” at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and
Performance Center. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $12 for children under 12. Tickets are
available online at
www.BelcherCenter.com or at the university’s box
office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“A Year With Frog and Toad” was nominated for three Tony
Awards, including Best Musical. For the first time, this all-new production is touring across North
America.
Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters hop from the page to the stage
in this delightful musical that follows two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the
rather grumpy Toad through four seasons.
Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant
gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, including a most
important one about friendship and rejoicing in the attributes that make each of us different and
special.
