Alzheimer's Association to Host Memory Walk at LETU Oct. 10

The Alzheimer’s Association will have its annual Memory Walk at 8
a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at LeTourneau University on 2100 S. Mobberly Ave. in Longview. The
Memory Walk is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association, and participants will raise money for
the Association to support families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and to fund research for a
cure for the illness.
The day of the Memory Walk will begin with registration at 8
a.m. The walk itself begins at 9 a.m., rain or shine. It is wheelchair and stroller
accessible, and entertainment and activities will be provided for children. A remembrance
ceremony will also be held. Refreshments will be provided. Persons interested in joining
