Middlebrooks Named ASC Softball Player of the Week

LeTourneau University junior outfielder Jacque
(pronounced “Jackie”) Middlebrooks (Alvin, TX) was named American Southwest East Division Hitter of
the Week for her efforts during four games last week. Middlebrooks cracked a salty .615 batting
average for the week and a 1.000 slugging percentage with three doubles and a triple.
Middlebrooks also made an acrobatic catch up against the right-field wall late in the win over
Austin College to secure a victory. She is the first recipient of this award from LETU this season
for softball.
