LeTourneau University Associate Professor of Biblical Studies and
Christian Ministries Pat Mays spent 21 days outside a Nigerian village working on Bible
translation. He hopes to encourage LETU students to pursue missionary service.
“These kinds of opportunities are a great way for our students and
faculty to participate in the global initiative set forth by Dr. Lunsford by being involved
in the cause of Christ through using our education and expertise,” Mays said. “Our students
can be involved in frontline mission work, both in Nigeria and from our campus through modern
technology.”
