LETU'S Dallas Educational Center to move in March
Fri, Jan 23 2009
After nearly 20 years at
its current site, LeTourneau University's School of Graduate and Professional Studies Dallas
Educational Center will move from its current location on the LBJ Freeway across from Valley View
Mall to a new location at 7920 Beltline Rd., at the corner of Beltline Rd. and Coit Rd. in
March.
The new location gives
LETU-Dallas abundant signage on two sides of the 11-story office building in a heavily trafficked
area in Northeast Dallas. This new location expects to draw working adult students from Richardson,
Frisco, Garland, and commuters from downtown and other surrounding areas.
The newly remodeled,
11,500-square-foot suite on the top floor provides five large classrooms, a small conference room,
offices, and two additional conference rooms on the main floor of the building. The highlight of
the new location is a state-of-the-art cybercafé and chapel.
“LeTourneau wants to give
its students the best place possible to learn in a comfortable environment,” said Carol Green, vice
president for LETU’s School Professional and Graduate Studies. “The cybercafé contains computers,
library resources, coffee and refreshments in an open area with great windows to enjoy the view.”&

The new location includes
the benefits of on-site security, a parking garage, stores, eateries and the convenience of a
location near LBJ, the toll way and Central Expressway. Build-out construction for the
new site began this month, with preparations for the move already under way. LETU’s Dallas
Education Center comprises a site at 4001 Airport Freeway in Bedford and the site in Dallas. LETU’s
lease on the Bedford site has recently been renewed with additional space added.
