Austin Education Center Named Finalist For Chamber Award

LeTourneau University’s Austin Education Center was named a finalist in the 8th annual Greater Austin Business Awards from the Austin Chamber of Commerce in the category of providing excellent customer service. Winners will be announced at an awards banquet Aug. 27.

Created in 2001, the annual awards recognize small, medium, large and not-for-profit businesses in the categories of Innovation, Customer Service, Education, Community Relations, Take On Traffic and Environment as well as the Freescale not-for-profit $5,000 award winner. The awards are co-sponsored by the Austin-American Statesman newspaper and have grown to more than 1,000 attendees annually.
