Why LeTourneau?

 

At LeTourneau University, we believe in educating our students academically, socially and  spiritually. As an evangelical, interdenominational, Christian university, our foundation is based  squarely on biblical principles and practice.

 

 We offer 60 programs at both graduate and undergraduate levels in a variety of fields. Our  flagship programs are in aeronautical science and engineering with strong programs in the areas  of arts and sciences , teacher education and business. Almost 3,600 students from nearly every  state and 25 nations seek out LeTourneau to further their education.

 

 Many of our degree programs provide hands-on opportunities for learning, and we have a  number of state-of-the-art educational resources. Undergraduates have access to educational projects and laboratory equipment usually only reserved for postgraduates at other universities. We also offer MBA programs for working adults, both on-ground and online, including our newest offerings, Educational Leadership and Aviation Business Management. Our programs for working adults also include teacher education and undergraduate degrees in business.

 

We seek to provide a well-rounded, Christian education. Our graduate placement records confirm our success in that area, but it's not all about academics at LeTourneau. We also encourage students to become Christian leaders. We have many programs and venues in place to enhance spiritual growth. Whether it's through dynamic chapel speakers, classroom prayer led by professors or life-changing missionary trips, we offer boundless opportunities to focus on spiritual, as well as the academic growth.

 

U.S. News & World Report ranks LeTourneau University 31st among Master's Comprehensive Universities in the Western region in its 2008 rankings of “America’s Best Colleges.” LETU has been ranked in the top tier for six consecutive years, following its reclassification in 2001, after nine years of ranking in the top tier among Liberal Arts Schools.

저희 대학은 다양한 전공 분야의 학부교육, 대학원 교육을 통한 약 60개의 교육 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다. 학사와 석사, 박사를 포함해 가지고 총 60가지의 다양한 분야와 레벨의 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다. 본교의 주된 프로그램들은 항공학, 엔지니어링으로써 이 밖에도 문과 대학, 교육학, 비즈니스와 같은 분야의 교육을 제공하고 있습니다. 현재, 미국 내의 각 주(州)와 25여개의 국가에서 본교의 교육을 수료하기 위해 온 약 4000명의 학생들이 다니고 있습니다.

 

저희가 제공하는 각종 전공 프로그램들은 교육의 다양한  기회들과, 최고의 교육 자원을 제공합니다. 다른 대학들이 대학원 과정에서 제공하는 수준의 교육 프로젝트와 실험실 장비들을 , LeTourenau 대학에서는 학부학생들이 이용할 수 있도록 하고 있습니다 . 또한 저희는 직장인들을 위한 온라인, 오프라인 리더십 교육, 항공 비즈니스 관리와 같은 각종 MBA 프로그램을 제공합니다. 뿐만 아니라 저희는 직장인들을 위한 교사 교육과 비즈니스 학사 과정 프로그램을 제공합니다.

2008년 U.S. News & World Report에서 LeTourneau 대학은 서부대학 석사 교육 부문 "America's Best Colleges"  순위 28의 랭킹을 차지하였습니다. 또한  LeTourneau 대학은 2001년도부터 문과 학부교육 부문에서 9년 동안 상위권을 지키고 있고, 6년 연속 최상위권의 랭킹을 유지하고 있습니다.
